Two years after her divorce, Mary thought her ex might try playing the part of a nice guy for a change, but that was too much to hope for. Mother's Day was coming up, but sadly it was Mary's ex-husband's weekend to have the kids. Surely he would swap as she had done for him so many times before. Instead, he was taking the children and leaving her to look forward to a desolate and lonely weekend to celebrate her motherhood. A little spark of an old crush shone a glimmer of light onto Mary's otherwise dismal expectations for the weekend. Mr. Brian, a somewhat timid and reserved man, found the courage to ask her out on a date, and she gleefully accepted. It was the first time since her divorce that she felt any desire to fling herself back into the turbulent world of romance and love. Before Mary could even share the news of her potentially kindling love life with her friend, rumors that she was available began to spread. Another man, the coach of her son's basketball team, insisted she go out with him. Coach was not the kind of man who liked to be refused, and he had been patiently waiting for a chance to ask Mary out for several years. Now that she was willing, he wouldn't wait any longer. Before Mary knew it, her self-isolation had ended, and she was double-booked! After such a long, loveless drought, perhaps going out on dates when she felt frisky was not the best idea. With each passing moment, it seemed another kink was teasing her to the point of saying, "Sometimes, girls just need to have fun."
