Welcome :} I've been a writer for most of my teenage and adult life, starting first with poetry which then moved to short stories and novellas. From there it didn't take long at all for my tales to grow, extending beyond the traditional publishing length of 80k words a book. I've never had trouble filling a page, not with the vast imagination that fills my head. I stem from a pretty hard background (shocking, right?), so it's no wonder most of my main characters have their own various troubles. I've used my own life and experiences as inspiration especially in my Blood Moon Series. Kierra and I share more than just a love for bread. Enjoying mixing fact with fiction, I hale from the US, the northern-most part of the central state Illinois. Inspiration is gathered from everything around me to set a scene, including the cities I'm most familiar with; Rockford, Loves Park, and Machesney Park - all very real places, not just fictitious names within a book. Many of the locations talked about within the Shadow world of my BM series, can be found within these very cities. Like many others, I fight with social anxiety and bipolar disorder daily in hopes of becoming a best-selling author one day, and while I may not like people, I do love animals. I've even put my (old) cat in my stories. (May he rest in peace) Many of my characters are also based on people I know, taking their personalities and even some of their characteristics to form a person within the Shadow world. You too, could find yourself there one day, but which side of the fence will you be on?
