Karen Black lives in eastern Pennsylvania, and while she writes year around, this author does the majority of her writing in the winter. Spring is devoted to planting seeds and nurturing herb plants for the summer garden, summer is for gardening and watching the birds that migrate from the south. During the fall, she spends time simply enjoying the weather and throughout the winter, a computer is her primary companion. With a lifelong love of animals and fascination with the paranormal, many of her stories contain both. In all of them, however, the reader can expect the unexpected.
