Peter Hargraves worked as a physicist and an engineer, but later decided he preferred writing to science. He worked as a corporate writer before turning his hand to fiction. He started with short stories before publishing his first novella. He volunteers for a small science fiction music convention and has been involved in animal rescue. Short forays into taxi driving during tough times has broadened his experience of human nature which he has tried to use to bring his characters to life.
